Calendar Things

Time flies!  Except when you’re waiting for something fun, like say, Christmas morning or your package of newest Things to arrive in the mail.  Anyways, it’s time to re-up your calendars...unless you like living in the past.  I always look forward to the arrival of the new year’s calendars (now granted, I look forward to a lot of Things, but I’m also a “the glass is half-full” kind of guy).  The 2009 Monthly Doos calendar is always a high point.  If you haven’t heard of this calendar by now, you’ve been missing out.  Often called an ode to man’s best friend, this calendar appeals not only to dog-lovers, but those who love the absurd.  It’s also a favorite calendar to give as a gift at Christmas, especially for those who are hard-to-buy for! Another popular calendar is Maxim’s sexiest women of 2009.  Really, what more does a guy need to say?

The ladies in the office tend to get all googly-eyed when they talk about Harrison Ford or that Shia LaBeouf guy.  So they were pretty happy to see this 2009 Indiana Jones™ wall calendar that has a collection of images from all 4 of the blockbuster films. 

Or, go old-school, really old-school, with the Stonehenge™ pocket watch.  With a little sun and some patience, you can tell everyone when the winter solstice starts.  Your mother’s birthday, on the other hand, is another story.
