Gold Rush Commemorative Collection
The discovery of gold nuggets in the Sacramento Valley in early 1848 sparked the California Gold Rush.

To accommodate the needs of the '49ers, gold-mining towns had sprung up all over the region, complete with shops, saloons, brothels, and other businesses to make their own Gold Rush fortune.

This collection commemorating that Gold Rush contains a 24K gold-plated 2005 California state quarter, a 1999 33-cent California Gold Rush 150th anniversary U.S. postage stamp, and a genuine gold nugget.

Housed in folio with info card.
